Wishing you a 2019 filled with laughter, joy, love and yes, plenty of opportunity to craft!
Welcome to Happy Little Stampers January 2019 CAS Challenge, where this month's theme is washi tape.
Prior to this challenge, I've only used washi tape to hold dies in place or to seal envelopes, which means that my washi is of, shall we say, *functional* (aka: not so pretty) quality. I was in a bit of a dither about how I'd remedy that little predicament, when I remembered a PinkFresh Studio purchase from wayyyyyyy back (as in last year), that included washi strips. PERFECT! Challenge challenge solved *grin*
Two very CAS cards...using my 'new' washi...
That's it from me; please head over to the blog to see how my talented teammates interpreted this month's theme. A reminder that we're looking for CAS designs.
Thank you for dropping by!
Those strips came in handy, Carol. That little stack of presents is so colorful and the back and forth sentiment is so much fun on the other card.
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are adorable - great use of washi - very creative and so beautifully CAS!
ReplyDeleteReally clever, Carol ... both of them ... bright and colourful ... and such fun! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun use of washi tape! I have many rolls of it that don't get used when I thought I had time to decorate planners. Snort. LOL I like your use better. :) Hugs!
ReplyDeleteJust so sweet...love your use of Washi Tape!
ReplyDeleteWait, you mean you don't buy washi tape just because it's pretty and add it to the drawer with all the rest of your washi tape? You have willpower. :P These are two very cute Christmas cards! And now you have a two-card stash for 2019!
ReplyDeleteFab use of the washi Carol, I must admit that it isn't my go to for cards either!
ReplyDeleteGreat use washi tape. Your presents look stunning.
ReplyDeleteAll the best for you and ttwoich in the New Year.
hugs,
BozenA
How fabulous Carol. Super ideas - be careful you’ll get hooked on washi, buying it that is just to look at!
