A gentle snowfall over the past three days sees our surroundings blanketed in white; the trees are covered in pretty, sparkly frost; the blue of the sky has a hazy sheen...December has definitely arrived. And with it...another round of challenges over at STAMPlorations.
Welcome to STAMPlorations December 2018 CUTplorations Challenge, where we're drawing inspiration from this photo...
If you head to the image source (highly recommend), you'll discover "7 Different Styling Tips with the Poinsettia," that are truly gorgeous. In this photo, mini poinsettias, in tiny vases, spruce up a Christmas card garland. Beautiful idea!
For my project today, I focused on, obviously, poinsettias, as well as something decorative to hang on a garland, tree or gift. Yes, I've already showcased this 'style' and image before (during Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags event) but...when something bears repeating, far be it from me not to heed the call *grin*
Below: my trio of angels, with poinsettia gowns. Right now, they're ornaments; I may transition them to fronts of cards or...I may make more 'for' cards and include these as a wee gift. It's obvious: I'm smitten with this angel die!
That's it from me! Hope you'll play along with us!
Looking forward to seeing your fabulous translations of this image in the gallery!
- $15 gift certificate to the winners in the challenges voted by each design team (5 main winners)
- $5 gift certificate to three (3) randomly picked players per challenge (15 winners total)
And it bears repeating... as beautiful as the previous angels! Love how you picked up on the poinsettias.
