Joy, Wonderful and 'Tis the Season....Inkspirational Challenge #176~Photo Inspiration

Hello,

I'm joining my wonderful team to launch the next Inkspirational challenge, but before I do: OHMYSTARS! Our Anything Goes Christmas challenge saw 157 awesome cards/projects in the gallery!  Thank you so much for bringing mega watt smiles to all our faces!  Festive spirit soaring!!

Okay...

Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #176~Photo Inspiration, where we're inviting you to feast your eyes on this stunning table arrangement! From colours, to objects, to foods, to shimmer and shine..the the sparks to fuel your creativity abound!

For my cards, I focused on this section of the photo; specifically, the whisper of pink behind the wine glass, the glimpses of gold on the candle, the feather and napkin (or so I think it is, just behind the blueberries) and the dark hue of the wine (brandy?).  I also spotted an image that looks like a wee angel (right hand side).

Here's my trio of 4.5 square cards...

The background for the first two uses the new Quilted stencil from Uniko.
The third card's background is patterned paper from Kaisercraft; all three sport Kaisercraft ephemera. I rarely use pre-fab elements but sometimes...you just 'have to', specially when they're 'this' pretty!

My wonderful teammates have interpreted the prompt in beautiful ways; please visit and leave them some love, which I know will be deeply appreciated:

Looking forward to visiting you in the gallery!
Thank you for dropping by!

  1. wow so much inspired you here and I missed most of this. Adore the pretty card and the sublte background and then the contrast between this and your dramatic second card. Super use of the gold here x

  2. You have a wonderful eye for detail, Carol. I tried to enlarge the inspiration picture, but it got smaller! Then I tried at the website and it wouldn't enlarge. LOL I wanted to get a closer peek to see what you saw. That's okay, I CAN see your gorgeous cards and that's enough to elicit at huge smile of delight. Your design choices are stellar and each card is uniquely beautiful. Love the background on the angel card. Thank you so much for sharing! hugs!

  11. Beautiful cards, Carol! I love the colours you've pulled from the challenge to create those trees. A lovely CAS design. Having the sentiment stamped in the centre tree is the perfect touch. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
