Welcome to the first day of the Uniko Studio May 2018 Release product introductions. Today, Bev, the Design Team and our Guest Designer for May, Anna, have a plethora of inspiration to share with you today...and tomorrow..and the day after...until the Big Reveal on Saturday, May 12th.
My goodies are still enroute, which means I'll be full-on joining in the festivities later this month (perhaps a couple pop-ins beforehand) with a Release in Review from May 21st to 25th.
Two products on the stage today: Simply Said Blocks II, a mini clear stamp set with additional popular sentiments in the same style as Simply Said Blocks, and an official launch of Natures Treasures II Stencil. The first item isn't in my hot little hands yet, but the stencil...yes indeed! So...this will be one of those 'popping in' cards I've designed, while waiting for my package to arrive.
I've become rather 'fanatic' about embossing with stencils, so the new stencil was treated to said technique right from the get go. The 'raised' leaves come from using the stencil, as is; the debossed leaves, from the masks. Such fun to see the combination of textures with but a couple passes through my Big Shot.
Once the panel was embossed, I added a trio of English Country Garden Butterflies and a sentiment from All Occasions Sentiments #6. Asimple, fun twist in stretching your stencils/masks...
You'll see more of my designs featuring today's sets later this month.
We have SIX more days of introductions before the BIG RELEASE, DESIGN TEAM BLOG HOP and GIVEAWAY on Saturday, May 12th. Details are at the Uniko blog HERE. You'll also find links and peeks at the gorgeous cards from the rest of the team. Do visit their places; not only will you be dazzled by their designs, but prizes are part of the mix, too!

This is beautiful, Carol. I adore that embossing and debossing. It adds just the right amount of texture and visual interest and still allows those pretty butterflies to shine. I'm sorry that your products haven't made it to you yet. That's got to be frustrating. I look forward to when you are able to share more. Have your bicycle races started? That'll probably help the time fly by while you are waiting for the mail to catch up. :) Hugs!
