Welcome to the Uniko Design Team Blog Hop, where we're showcasing the 'newbie' Fun Flowers stencil and its lovely 'older' companion, Fun Flowers Clear Stamp. These two, together, make for some ah-mazing,incredibly pretty designs - as evidenced by the dazzling array my teammates created.!
I added various sized bits of bling to the flower centers and a Happy Birthday sentiment from Simply Said Blocks.
For times when a quick card is needed, this technique - and stencil/stamp set - are just the ticket!
That's it from me; sending you off to hop, hop, hop. Please leave comments as you journey along, as Bev is, once again, offering a wonderful gift to a lucky commenter: a £15 eGift Certificate.
You have until Saturday 7th April 2018 to comment. Enjoy!!
Carol, yes, stencils are so versatile!
ReplyDeleteLove your dry embossing technique! And the extra-bling turns this CAS card to something very special!
Have a great weekend! Wiebke
I love how clearly you’ve dry embossed with the stencil. I keep trying but never get crisp results like yours. Feeling very inspired to give it another go now!

ReplyDeleteOh MY! you are so clever Carol. I need to give the dry embossing with stencils a good old play! I've got the tools but lack the time! Anyway your card has spurred me on. So deliciously simple, neat and super elegant and sparkly with those added gems. Wonderful showcase! x

ReplyDeleteOoh great effect with the dry embossing I may be asking for a tutorial! I've tried several times with various layer & shim combos but alas little success. I love the white on white xx
ReplyDeleteI've not yet delved into the dry embossing of stencils, but after seeing your result, I just might have to change that! This is so very pretty! Subtle, but definitely there and I adore the gems you added. Wonderful work, my friend! Wow!

This is fabulous Carol ! Your white on white embossing is so gorgeous with the little touches of colours brought by the gems. Fabulous ! I do too love dry embossing with stencils. I was not so comfortable with stencils but finally I love to play with them because they are very versatile. ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty, C! It reminds me of a sweet pure white eyelet top over white pants, with jeweled sandals! But now, wait. What? Embossing with stencils? Since I have a few of those I don't use as stencils, I'm off to check that out further ~ thanks!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteOh... The dry embossing looks so gorgeous... Loved the card...
ReplyDeleteI've not tried dry embossing with this kind of stencil, only the heavy brass ones. But your card looks so stunning I'm going to have to give it a try.
