Already we're into March and...today is my niece's birthday! She's 8! EIGHT!! Oh my stars; where has the time gone! We'll be celebrating with her - and my nephew, who turns 6 - SIX! - in a couple weeks. Celebration #1 will happen when we head to visit at their place and then, Celebration #2 (shhh...this one is a surprise...) when they stop at our place to-and-from their Spring Break vacation. I'm so excited (although this growing up stuff needs to slowwwwww down!).
Anyway...Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #430~Word Week, where lovely Maria is inviting us to play with Balloons. How fun, right!
Hot air balloons (Concord & 9th) from me, sailing through a puffy-clouds sky, on the wings of a gentle breeze, to deliver birthday wishes. This one headed to my sister-in-law's mom - aka Grammy; the card for Ms. T will be revealed next week (shhhhh...that's a secret, too).
Balloons...I love balloons and I know YOU do, too!
See you in the gallery!

Oh golly, the kiddos are growing up way too fast. Sure wish there was a "pause button" (from a Scotty McCreery song that is popular on the country music charts)! Your card is so fun! Love how you used the balloons for hot air balloons and how you added the doodling. Initially I thought you doodled, but then thought, maybe not. In any case, your balloons look fabulous. And your stenciled clouds...perfect! Enjoy those wonderful celebrations coming up! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun designed balloons floating in the sky :)

ReplyDeleteThe clouds are so soft and fluffy behind your colorful hot air balloons, Carol. I've been up in one and would love to do it again.
ReplyDeleteThese hot air balloons are delightful, just floating along against that pretty sky! The cloud stenciling looks wonderful and I think it's so fun how you popped the balloons up over the stamped baskets.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun fancy balloons here and how clever to make them into hot air balloons. Lovely blue sky in the background with just a few clouds hanging over. Enjoy those birthday celebrations won't you Carol.
