October and yes...we've had our first snow fall! Fortunately, it melted but, I've brought out my winter clothes just. in. case. *grin*
A new month, of course, also brings about a bevy of new challenges at Happy Little Stampers, and today, my team and I invite you to join us for HLS CAS Challenge October 2017~One Layer.
One layer: oh my stars! This is not something I do, for a myriad of reasons, the most significant one being I cannot cut straight edges no matter what I do! As a result, I rely on my lovely, wonderful, totally dependent on collection of panel dies. Alas, that was a no no for this challenge so...I hitched up my big girl pants, gritted my teeth, did my best to cut 'not totally askew' card bases and...well, here's what happened:
Not one, but a trio of super-duper easy to recreate cards featuring Waffle Flower's Flora Play stamp set with just a whisper of colouring with prismacolour pencils...
Those images are just so dang cute? The rolling one makes me giggle!
Anyway...I can now say I've 'delved' into the one-layer card world. Whew! And...if I can do this, then you most certainly can! Just a reminder that we're looking for CAS cards:

ReplyDeleteThose are some super cute kitties! You've colored them wonderfully. They sure make me smile. Hey why couldn't you use a die to cut your card base? You could use a rectangle or even a circle or other shaped die. Just a thought I think your rectangle looks great though! You pulled up your big girl panties real good! Hee, hee. Thanks for sharing. I love this cat in black gloves :-)) Very elegant kitten! You had a hard time, three beautiful cards :-) Delicate splashing looks beautiful and creates a perfect background.
