My DT and I are delighted to welcome you to the new FUSION Card Challenge~Teacup Flowers. Such pretty blooms and oh, how smitten I am with the polka-dot teacup! Speaking of teacups, I have a variety of delicate ones - with matching saucers - in my home; treasured keepsakes from my Grandma that spark wonderful memories of cherished times spent on the farm with her and my Grandpa.
My focus was on the flowers, with these being the result. The pink of the first is quite obvious in the photo...
and if you look closely, a bit of purple also appears, so a second care emerged...
These were such fun to make: a pairing of Concord and 9th's Hope Labels die (love its size!), the accompanying Hope stamp set (for the sentiments), and a background fashioned with the Aloha Fill-in stencil.

Simply gorgeous, Carol ... and yes, that first card did have me smiling! You've showcased that wonderful Hope die so beautifully ... it's simply splendid with the delicious blooms ... whether in pink or purple! Hugs, my friend, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteThis card just takes my breath away! The purple is lovely but PINK is my color! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThese are both so lovely, Carol. I too have a number of bone china cups and saucers, some from my Grandmother and some from my Mom.
ReplyDeleteHOPE you know how sweet these are, my friend! Such pretty flowers in both pink and purple, and that die is to die for! My sister has my grandma's tea set from when grandma was a little girl - over 100 years old. I'd have probably broken it, so it's just as well that Sue has it! Anyway, beautiful cards. You're pretty darn incredible. Bev
ReplyDeleteBoth your HOPE cards are so beautiful, Carol. I love how the stamp sentiment set goes with the HOPE die. Your flowers are so pretty too. TFS Hugs...
ReplyDeleteThese flowers are gorgeous, Carol! And the sentiment die is so cool. Fabulous cards!
ReplyDeleteOh, what a wonderful keepsake teacups are! I have several in my house that are from my mom's collection. They add such charm and evoke special memories that make you smile. These cards do make me smile as well. The pretty posies strewn all over the card and fun die allowing the colors to peek through. Just wonderful all around. Thanks so much for sharing, Carol. I hope you have a wonderful day! Hugs! :)
