The Ink gals were blown away by the response to the Polka Dots challenge, with creativity that made our hearts smile! Thank you!
Speaking of hearts: do you see the pretty pastel *sweet* hearts we're tempting you with for Inkspirational Challenge #128:
So pretty...sighhhh (and wish I had nails like hers, too!). Our wonderfully talented Guest Designer is
Ros Crawford, whose card is soft, delicate and, well, swoon-inducing! You'll be dazzled...as you will with those of my teammates;

I confess: nothing original with this card at all! The photo was the *perfect* excuse to case one of the cards that I adore over at the Concord & 9th site, featuring the Heart Strings and Heart Smiles stamp and die set. I. Just. Had. To. And so I did! My hearts are somewhat different from the original card, but the layout? Copied...and I like it! Stamping and cutting the hearts took a bit of time, but oh, what fun! You can't help but smile when you're making something that will actually work *grin*
Thank you, C9, for the inspiration! I made this card before heading north on my 'working' visit and it was quickly claimed by my sister-in-law for one of her friends. Happy me and, hopefully, happy friend receiving it.
Any big plans for the weekend? Not me...just carrying on crafting, making a mess, missing my husband, not cleaning up my mess (yet...), more crafting...Yep, I'm a real wild one when my husband's away. HA! NOT!
Hope your Saturday is filled with doing whatever your heart desires...
Thank you for spending part of your day with me; your visit brings me joy!
What a great design, so cute! This design would be fun to try with some small stamps that I own, hmmm... Thanks for the inspiration!

ReplyDeleteLook at all the pretty hearts in all the lovely, sherbet-y colors. Happy Sigh...just wonderful. If there's a great card design, don't mess with it...too much. This is very pretty. How gratifying that your sister claimed it right away. I'm sure the recipient is, or will be soon, smiling big time. Thanks for sharing.
