A skiffering of snow this week, combined with brisk, cool temperatures, (I wore long-johns the other day to stave off the early-morning cool of the car seat during my drive to work!) sparked plenty of ideas for the new Inkspirational Challenge #122~Chill
Of course, *chill* can refer to more than just cool temperatures, as you'll see by the fabulous interpretations from our talented guest designer, Teresa, and the rest of my incredible team:
Me? I went with 'chilly temperatures'...and this happened...
The LF alpaca image and sentiment give me the giggles!
*Alpaca* myself up now and let you get on with visiting my team, then
creating a card/project of your own to share in the gallery!
Until then, "Chill, dudes"!
(Okay, got the goofies out of my system....it's been a rather stressful week...sighhhh...so
thank you for indulging me in my zaniness...)

ReplyDeleteTake care xx
I love this card! I've admired that LF stamp set for a while. So cute and amusing. Love what you did with it. Hope your weekend is stress free and you can relax a bit. 😊 Hugs!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, Carol! What a great use for that fun alpaca. I love the little detail of adding the tiny snowflakes among the sentiment. The embossed background looks fabulous and you've got a great red there, too. Jennifer McGuire recommended that peekaboo window die as one of her favorites, don't you know. It looks fab on the card! I hope your weekend goes well. I think you said you might go visit family. Hugs to you and positive and healing thoughts from me going with you.
ReplyDeleteWonderful card, Carol! I love Lawn Fawn stamps and are use of this alpaca makes me want to get that set too... Grr! ;) Love the fresh combo of white and red. Beautiful embossing too. All and all, superb work!
ReplyDeleteThis is simply adorable.
ReplyDeleteLOL This is a super cute card Carol! I love that little Alpaca. My cousin has an Alpaca, so cute! It got cold here too, had some sleet this evening and might see some snow as well tomorrow. But it was those winds that hit that made it rough. We went from 70 degrees today down to 40 in just a few hours. Not as cold as you, but still cold when it was balmy. lol Stay warm my friend! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteVery cute Carol, nice simple card with the red and white and the Alpaca so cute.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun card Carol! Love the play on words too!
ReplyDeleteThis is fun and the texture and dimension are great.
ReplyDeleteWhat a CUTE card, Carol!
ReplyDeleteVery cute Carol! The snowflake embossing is great and such fun sentiments! Definitely gives off a "chill" vibe. =)

Totally cute card! I'm sorry you had a rough week... here we are about to start another week... with the holidays.... hang in there!
ReplyDeleteYep...definitely "cold outside baby" here today. Still no snow, but cold, COLD north wind! Perfect day for hiding inside in my craft room!
ReplyDeleteThe sentiment on this sweet creation TOTALLY cracked me up because when I was in Peru with Brady, 99.9% of the vendors assured 'potential buyers' that EVERYTHING is Alpaca (NOT).
Love the embossed background :)
Oh, how adorable! Love that sheepy looking Llama! If it makes you feel better - its cold here too - even had a dusting of snow this morning...
ReplyDeleteAwww so adorable and funny!! Love it!!
ReplyDeleteI love that little LF alpaca - he's been on my wish list for ages! You rocked him here!
ReplyDeleteSometimes you just have to get goofy, Carol. But I love a good pun and the card is so cute.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute card Carol!! I love LF and you've done a beautiful and fun design at the same time if that's possible!! :) I really love the texture in the background too! HUGS
