Christmas is coming wayyyyy too quickly, so I've decided to make at least a 'wee' dent in the 'must make' card list. Today, I'm celebrating Christmas with two techniques. The first is one I do my best to avoid - watercolour (yep, the challenge to get it right persists) - but given the darling image calling for attention, I couldn't resist. Out came my Prisma watercolour pencils, paired with a very light touch in adding water. The results make me smile! Please say hello to this incredibly cute, brand new Snowman Decorating Tree, in the midst of a flurry of Ink Spots snowflakes.
My second card features another newcomer to the Serendipity shop: the Snowflake Reverse Die. I cut the snowflakes from white cardstock, and adhered the panel to a teal background. A second pass of the die, using silver shimmer card stock, gave me another set of snowflakes that I offset slightly over the openings. The peeks of teal through the silver is really pretty in real life. An easy-to-make card, perfect for mass producing...

What a delightful duo of cards, Carol! Oh my, that first one had me smiling with delight. You've done a stellar job of watercoloring the delightful image. I like the depth I see in the watercoloring. And the snowflakes on the second card look fabulous offset the way you have them. That teal color is so pretty. I'm sure it's wonderfully shimmery. This is a real winner of a post! Thanks so much for sharing. Hugs!! :)
