Autumn is definitely here: cool weather, brisk winds, tumbling leaves. Time to embrace fall colours, be it in nature, in wardrobe choices or...in cupcakes! How's that for a lead in to Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #376~Colour Inspiration, where we're tempting you with forest, papaya and eggplant.
This week, we're sponsored by Newton's Nook Designs, the home of the adorable, sweet Newton and all his friends! The lucky winner of this challenge will receive a $25 store credit! Someone is going to be mega-watt smiling when she/he receives this fabulous gift! Inspired to join us? Excellent!!
Forest, papaya and eggplant combo offers plenty of possibilities; given the time of year and the nearing of October, Halloween immediately popped to my mind. Out came my Boo Crew set and, after checking out the incredibly adorable images, Vampire Bunny and I struck a deal...
After dressing him up with an 'eggplant' striped paper-pieced cape, he was picture perfect. Here he is, nestled inside a peek-a-boo frame, surrounded by 'forest' zig-zag paper and a polka-dot 'papaya' BOO! He appears rather proud of himself, don't you think? Dapper and handsome, indeed!
