Birthday Blooms...STAMPlorations Colour Bloom Linky Party, Anything Goes CAS September Challenge, Anything Goes Challenge

Hello,

We came back home late, late, late last night after a most fabulous weekend; my husband as an official for the 5-day Tour of Alberta bike race, and me, having spent four solid days with family. Niece and nephew time: in abundance, and every. single. second. was awesome!  My husband is off to another bike race officiating gig in the east (quick turn-around, as he's leaving tomorrow); while I'm here, back-at-work...

Quick post...because I have some laundry that 'must' get done in preparation for my husband's trip...to share my card for STAMPlorations Color Blooms Linky Party:

I transformed one of the panels I coloured (Chameleon markers) from back in August (thank you for the download, Shery!)  into a birthday card....

Those artsy blooms make me smile...

I'm also joining the galleries at:

Off to tackle my chores.  I foresee a bit of ironing in my very near future...can't let my husband be a 'wrinkle-clad official' in front of the pro-cyclists *grin*...

Thank you for spending part of your day with me; your visit brings me joy!

  1. Expertly colored flowers and fabulous layout - your card is a big hit!
No, you definitely wouldn't want your husband go all wrinkly on such an important trip! Hope you are getting all your laundry and ironing done in time!

  2. Looks at those pretty flowers colored so beautifully! Your card is lovely! You chose some delightful colors to pop out against that black and white background. I hope you were able to get your hubby's clothes to look spiffy in short order. So happy you were able to spend extended time with your family. Big hugs and happy smiles to you! :)

  3. Gorgeous! The kids gave me a watercolour colouring book for my birthday and I was thinking I could use it to make cards.... I'm going to bring it along with me next weekend when I chaperone at Austin's choir weekend... All I need are my Zigs and a water brush!

  6. Love your card Carol and super colouring with those Chameleons!! Now about the ironing...I had a conversation with Darnell on the very subject...she can't understand how we Brits have so much ironing...seems tumble driers are huge in America..so less ironing....so does that mean we all head for America?..see you there..OR..buy a bigger drier??...then move home to house it? Guess your'e nearer than me! Hugs xx

GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS. Love the stunning pops of color against the black & white images! Great design too - love the white space at the bottom of the card!

BTW, I'm thinking that making cards is definitely a 'must get done' item...laundry isn't :)
