Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #115, where our fabulous guest designer, Kathy, along with my amazing team - Sandie, Marina, Shauna, Pia, Nonni, Yvonne (Kim's on vacation, lucky gal!) - and I, invite you to use patterned paper on your project.
Patterned paper....now that's something that I use rarely these days, even though I have quite a selection. Actually, said 'selection' needs a good clean up! Too many remnants, along with too many "what was I thinking" pieces. "Organize paper'' added to my to do list.
In my previous post, I 'warned' you that I was on a shaker-kick *grin* and, consequently that's how I chose to use patterned paper. These are simple, basic shakers...nothing 'challenging' involved...which is why they were such fun to make. (Neat and Tangled Heart of Gold Die, Neat and Tangled My Sunshine, Neat and Tangled Lot to Say die, Winnie and Walter Hugs die)
Here's Card 1...
As you can see, I'm still smitten with the gold shimmer paper.
and Card 2.
Turning the stage over to you!
Looking forward to seeing your patterned paper artistry in the gallery!

What an awesome use of your pattern papers! Don't purge too much of it away while you are organizing, Carol. These shakers are absolutely delightful and very big smile inducing! So much fun! I like that they are simple and therefore fun and easy to create. You are so inspiring and I'm so happy you share! Big hugs! :)
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Fantastic shakers! What a fun twist. Your gold sentiment is really eye catcher against the white and paired with the heart. Very creative Carol!

ReplyDeletePatterned paper - I'd say we've all "been there, done that, bought the t-shirt" and MIGHT have...um....several sheets stashed away in boxes. Just sayin'...

ReplyDeleteYou can stay on that kick as far as I'm concerned, Carol. These are darling. I love the plaid and how it looks in the faceted cut.

Wonderful use of patterned paper, Carol! I really need to use some of mine--like the LF plaid I finally had to buy, but is mostly unused--haha!
ReplyDeleteYes, sure do love your shaker cards, Carol!
ReplyDeleteI too have quite a selection of pattern paper and find it so hard to use them. I always end up with stamping and die-cutting instead.
Hugs Pia :)
Wonderful shaker cards Carol, love the first one with the heart cut from the same paper. Looks so neat.
