Ouch...Freshly Made Sketches #238, Happy Little Stampers~Anything Goes with Dies Challenge, Happy Little Stampers~Anything Goes with Dies Challenge, Simon Says Wednesday Challenge~Anything Goes

Hello,

Happy Memorial Day weekend to my wonderful friends in the USA!

My husband and I are at my mom's, readying ourselves for officiating at the second event of a two day road-bike racing competition. Today: criterium races.  Fast and furious laps around a 1km circuit. They're fun to watch....as long as everyone stays upright!

So...here's my card, inspired by my wonderful friend, Kim, over at Freshly Made Sketches #238

Some sweet succulents...and in the context of what we're off to do today, I hope this sentiment does NOT ring true *grin*!

NOTE: Honoured and delighted to receive an Honourable Mention at Freshly Made Sketches #238! THANK YOU, Jen T!

I'm also joining the galleries at:

I'm delighted you spent some time with me today; your visit brings me immense joy!

  1. Gorgeous coloring on those succulents, Carol! Have fun watching the races. They were road races going on this morning while Tex and I were out walking. Thankfully Tex has no interest in them whatsoever. My old dog, Scout, wanted to chase them all!!

  7. Beautifully colored and arranged are your succulents! Gorgeous card!
Hope everything went well at the bike races today! We had our annual Marathon today and they had to discontinue it after four hours because of the heat! It was the first time that happened in 28 years!

  10. Oooh, I do hope no ouchies occur on the race! Your coloring is amazing on these prickly plants. I like how you clustered them, too. The pierced edge makes me think that you took a spine (?-is that the correct word?) and poked the edge. Thank you so much for sharing! Hugs!!
