Although the return to work after two weeks off was a wee bit of a struggle (getting up early: fine; getting up early AND getting going: not fine. Except where crafting is concerned...get up and get doing I can navigate quite well. Bedroom, kitchen, coffee, craft = happy me), the days flew by.
It's already time for me to join my talented DT to tempt and tantalize you with another deliciously lovely confection for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #342.
Gorgeous cupcakes...and do you see the snowflakes?
The bit of sparkle and shimmer?
I do..
The inspiration photo was the perfect *excuse* to play with a second set of Stunning Snowflakes from my recent Uniko win...
I paired them with a lilac edge and a glitter paper Winter sentiment, from Winnie and Walter. A simple little number, but oh, how pretty they (yes, I made three-fers) are in real life.
Lilac, graphite and white...I know you have those colours in your collection. I know you can create something gorgeous with them (and it need not be winter-themed). More incentive to play along? How about this: our generous sponsor is Inspired by Stamping
who are offering the winner a $24 Gift Card. Pretty colours + a lovely inspiration photo + a fabulous gift opportunity = we'll see you in the gallery! I'm so looking forward to the dazzles and delights you'll share with us! Your entries for the *Elegance* challenge were spectacular...and I know you'll impress us again this week!
Please be sure to check out my teammates' cards: they are fabulous!

ReplyDeleteOh! what a pretty card...how come you always seem to have the right colours for a challenge in that small space of yours? Love the simplicity of this and you sound already organised for next Christmas! Thank you for your lovely long comment on my blog post and the links. i fear I might be back linking so will have to be more organised next time! I can always see suitable challenges before I can blog the cards (recipient must receive first).....don't work too hard and take care in that snow! xx
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, Carol! This is gorgeous. I adore the colors! You've created a wonderful cascade of snowflakes. That strip along the side adds great interest to your card. I also really like that winter sentiment popped up a big. Gorgeous, I tell you! I hear you about heading back to work after 2 weeks off. Funny how our energy levels increase for the things we love to do (craft) over what we have to do (work). :) Big hugs to you!!
