The gals and I on the Cupcakes Inspiration team are delighted to welcome you to our first event of 2016: Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #341~Elegance. Cupcakes and champagne? Yes, please!
Our sponsor this week, Sparkle N Sprinkle,
generously gave us a choice of digital images to play with, along with offering the winner of this challenge a $15 gift certificate towards digis. Given that I have two ballerinas in my life - my sweet niece, Ms. T and her mom, my amazing sister-in-law - I simply had to choose Ballet Shoes which, to me, speaks volume about 'elegance'...
I coloured the shoes with my new Polychromo pencils (love-affair blossoming!!), stamped the background lightly in Delicata Gold with a dotted stamp from STAMPlorations Mixed Media, and placed the panel atop gold glitter paper (hard to photograph). The sentiment is from STAMPlorations as well. I hope my two special ballerinas will like this 'just because' card...
Please visit my wonderful teammates creations and then...YOUR TURN! How will you showcase 'elegance' this week? So many possibilities!
See you in the gallery!
