Hello, Friend...Muse #127, TIME OUT Challenge #37~Friendship is Golden

Hello,

I made a couple cards before heading to see my family, so best get them posted before I forget! All the shenanigans I've been up to with my niece and nephew: distracting in the best of ways! They are definitely two energizer bunnies!

This post features my card inspired by the wonderfully delightful and talented Joan Bardee, who is sharing her creativity at Muse #127

Thanks to Joan's inspiration, I was reminded of the Accent It stamps/dies from Clearly Besotted that hadn't seen the touch of ink and the 'squish' of my cuttlebug. I had grandiose plans to make a set of four using a variety of the images, but...well, let's say the plans are still in the blueprint stage! They'll get done...eventually!  For now, here's the first.  I shifted Joan's ferny brackets to top and bottom, and translated them into flourishes. Her hearts = my little posies. My sentiment = hers. Missed including a bow, but given I'm bow-challenged, not having one is for the best.

I'm also adding this to the gallery at TIME OUT Challenge #37~Friendship is Golden; a rare 'before the last minute' entry that I'm sure will surprise the DT! They're so sweetly patient with me!

Thanks so much for dropping by; your visit and comments add sparkle to my day!
Hugs,

  18. Love how your dies get 'squished', mine seem to get 'squeezed then cracked' or maybe thats my poor Cuttlebug plates (or my elbows from turning the handle so hard....). But I love my Cuttlebug to bits and couldn't imagine being without it!! I think your card is brilliant and is one of my favourites in the Gallery. Really like how you changed the layout but can still see Joan's card in there. Fabulous!

  19. Hello, my friend!! Love this card - what a clever way to see the Muse card and interpret it in this marvelous way! You have added such a sparkle to my day with this great card!! Love that blue sentiment and how it just really pops off the white!! So very Clean and Simple!!! I hope you get blessed from energy from the Energizer bunny so that you will be able to keep up with those precious kiddos that you love so much!! How very lucky they are!!!
