Welcome to Addicted to Stamps and More #157 where my fabulous design team and I are inviting you to join us in showcasing cards where you *Make Your Mark*. Pencils, markers, paints, chalks, gelatos...essentially, anything that allows you to 'make your mark' through colouring, stenciling, water-colouring...the works! Remember: colouring is awesome therapy *grin*
I've created a sentiment-free card, using two of the stamps from Tim Holtz's mini coffee-themed set, coloured with Chameleons. Stamped the bag o'bean (and alas...didn't fuse the brown long enough, so "coffee" is a bit hard to see in the photo), masked it, and stamped the take-away cup of filled with steaming hot Pike's Place coffee, black...just the way I like it! I used one of my splatter stencils and...done! Made my mark! I gave this to my sister, who plans to use it for a thank you card...yayyyy!
(Although the take-away cup looks askew, it isn't! Just the optics of how the stamp sits...and that's the story I'm sticking with! I'll make another card - or three- with this set to show you that I'm not as crooked a stamper as this makes me out to be *grin*)
After visiting my wonderfully talented team mates' creations, which are guaranteed to dazzle and delight, dash to your stash of colouring/painting/stenciling tools, and design a little something to share in the ATSM gallery. Need a bit more incentive? How about this fabulous $20 gift certificate from sweet Michele? Go. Now. Make your Mark!
I'm looking forward to being inspired by your creativity!
I'm also sharing my card at:
