Hello,

I'm over-the-moon EXCITED to be staying on as The Pink Elephant Guest Designer for the month of April. Such an honor!

Today, I'm inviting you to join us in The Pink Elephant #293

 USE PASTELS

As appears to be my 'pattern,' I have three cards to share with you and be warned: butterflies galore (sorry...I'm obsessed *grin*)

 First up, my pastel-translation of the gorgeous card created by the amazing Kimberly W over at STAMPlorations CASEplorations for April. A pink background, with some pigment ink white dots (hard to see in the photo), as a nod to Kimberly's waterdroplets, a pastel blue butterfly, a mint green body, and a couple strips of gold and silver sparkle tape, placed on cardstock, then die cut...

My recent order of Paper Smooches butterfly dies were awaiting me when we returned from Mom's on Saturday, so they're making their debut. Die cut paint chips...

My layout comes from ShowCASE Your STyle #12:


so I'll be joining the gallery there, as well as Winnie&Walter~Join in to Win.


Finally, a *clean and layered * creation, inspired by The Card Concept #32~Aqua, Coral, Green and White, using my much loved CB butterflies, some of which are also seeing ink for the first time (I know...hard to believe!).


 This one will also be joining Seize the Birthday~Anything Goes


and Simon Says Wednesday Challenge~Happy Birthday

    Love your trio of cards! Love that die cut butterfly! There are worse things to be obsessed with than butterflies. I mean, who doesn't love butterflies?! I think all three of your cards turned out fabulous! :-)

    Three fab cards Carol, love them all. I was sitting chatting with friends outside yesterday when I saw my first two butterflies of the season. Spring is here! :)

    C you have completely and totally bowled me over with these three amazing, beautiful, and super sweet butterfly cards!! The first one is just so nicely showcased with that glorious pink background!! Your trio of butterflies delighted the heck out of me - such an awesomely creative take on that sketch!!! And your last card - stamped with those soft and happy colors - yep, its' a beauty!!! Love seeing your butterflies - now whenever I see one I think of you and that makes me smile in a big way!!!     Oh my! They are all so fabulous, I don't know which one to comment on first! I do adore the Paper Smooches butterflies and the way you layered them! So pretty! The CB ones are so lovely too! And the very delicate butterfly die on the first one is just stunning! Amazing cards all around! ((Hugs))

    Um...you can be obsessed with butterflies all you want, Miss Carol. You will always have an admirer in me as I adore butterflies. Each one of your cards is glorious because they do include a butterfly. I doubt I could pick a favorite. Congratulations on continuing your gig with Pink Elephant.     Butterflies are just your trademark. I say to go with what you love, and you love those sweet little flutteries, so why not?!! Gorgeous trio of cards. Love the Springy colors in them. That triple frame die works so well; who makes it? PPP? It's delightful behind your butteryfliers.
