Guest Designer for TPE #289~Shaped Cards, Simon Says Wednesday Challenge~Special Lady/Girly, Just Add Ink #253

Happy Monday and welcome once again to my second guest designer appearance for The Pink Elephant Challenge #289~Techniques.
This week, it's all about strutting your 'shapes' to create a card that has some curves, swerves, folds or...whatever you can dream up. As the cliche says: think outside-the-box, go outside the lines, stretch beyond the rectangles and square...Okay, okay. Stopping now...

I'm sharing a trio of curvy cards.  First is my wavy circle number, sporting some black, some grey embossing, some shiny magenta butterflies (of course *grin*) and a liberal sprinking of bling (you don't see that from me very often...)

Second are two cards using a die that arrived about two days after Valentine's Day.  Oh well, love cards are always in season, right?  I used a NBUS Memory Box stencil - modern sprinkles - for this one, along with the magenta foil, and...

my watercolour stamps for this one.

Here's the trio...

Please head over (or if you've already been, THANK YOU for coming my way) to see the creativity from

I know you'll be amazed and inspired!  Looking forward to seeing YOUR shapely shaped-cards in the TPE gallery!

Butterfly card is off to Just Add Ink #253 (swoon-inducing photos...)

Thanks so much for dropping by; your visit and comments add sparkle to my day!
Hugs,

  16. Wonderful cards, Carol. Of course, my eye is also drawn to the butterflies, but I couldn't help and be smitten with the others as well. I really like the colorful backgrounds using the stencils and swash like stamp (I think it's a stamp). Way to go on making shaped cards! Have a terrific week. :)
