Guest Designer for The Pink Elephant #290 Colour Challenge~Pinch Me (Use Green), W&W~Join in to Win, STAMPlorations~Anything Goes, Little Tangles #54~Anything Goes

Hello!

Happy Monday and welcome once to my third guest designer appearance for The Pink Elephant Challenge #290~Colour Challenge

With today being St. Patrick's Day eve, the colour challenge this week is PINCH ME, aka: adding green to your card or project.

My St. Patrick's Day collection is comprised of a teensy weensy, yet very cute, shamrock die. I didn't have a clue how to showcase it well (I suppose I could have die cut 25 out of foil paper and tried a shaker card...*could have* being the operative term); instead, I infused green into my cards in other ways.

My first card is another go at Jennifer McGuire's ink layering technique, this time using my new STAMPlorations ART-plorations Leaf Stencil. Green background, pigment ink, green ink, complemented with a shimmer paper butterfly and W&W Cutaway...

My second card features ink splotches from Neat and Tangles, and a W&W cutaway...

Please head over (or if you've already been, THANK YOU for coming my way) to see the creativity from

I know you'll be amazed and inspired!  Looking forward to seeing YOUR *Pinch Me* cards in the Pink Elephant  gallery!

My cards are off to:
Addicted to CAS #59~Green

Thanks so much for dropping by; your visit and comments add sparkle to my day!

Hugs,

  2. Haha- I got a good chuckle out of "could have being the operative word". Quite genius of you to shy away from that!! And your stenciled background is loverly!!! I also like the splotchy goodness of the second card. Happy is for sure! Oh, and I suppose I can leave a little thank you for playing along at STAMPlorations, too. :)

  5. Oh I love that wonderful stenciling technique, and the stark white against the green is gorgeous. The middle of the butterfly really pops too. Love the splotchy Happy Birthday card and the pastels. All springy. I am so ready!

  13. Wowza! Two fabulous cards! I LOVE the background on the green one! That is so pretty! And I would much rather get a St. Patricks Day card with a butterfly than a shamrock! heheh! I don't have much in the way of St. Patty's day either. The second card is just super fun with those ink splotches! So cute!! (Hugs) and happy week! :)

  22. Wait a second - that green paper is sponged not embossed??? - it looks so cool and I thought at first glance that it had been done using an embossing folder - YOUR SPONGING IS REMARKABLE!!!!! That card would be welcome anytime of the year not just on "green" day - it is a beautiful and lovely beyond words card!!! And your second one is happy, bright, and oh, so perfect for celebrating the HAPPY birthday of someone you love!! Perfect work on that one - it is cooler than cool and I am just so impressed with you and your gorgeous work!!! Have a most AWESOME day!!! Hugs to you!!!
