Whooshing in like the gusty winds we're having today, with a quick note before donning my sous chef hat...
As I hinted at in my previous post, I'm smitten by CAS(E) this Sketch #114
and I have two more cards to prove this crush is for real...
Apologies for the pink tinge...grrr! After 30 some photo attempts, this is the best of the crop. I need a professional photographer!
These are heading to galleries at:
Dashing off to get supper started; so wonderful to have my husband back home; at least for this week...more traveling to come for both of us next.
Thanks so much for dropping by; your visit and comments add sparkle to my day!
Hugs,

ReplyDeleteGet out of here!!! These are just fabulous!! I LOVE the colorful images with the white card stock and then then dimension!! Just fabulous!!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous...simply fabulous! Two absolutely stunning cards my friend. This is your sketch that is for sure. Just love all your beautiful flowers, and those colors are so perfect. Enjoy the rest of your week.
ReplyDeleteNicely done, my friend! Two beauties, and don't ever worry about the photography. We all suffer from photos not cooperating well! Love the first one with its bi-colored leaves and all done in pinks. One of my favorite color combos! And I'm loving the bright and happy colors for your second card too. I think you need to save this sketch too; you've captured its essence perfectly. Sweet. How's your mum? Please give her my kindest regards. Bev
ReplyDeleteWhen you find something that works for you, keep at it. Both of these are terrific, Carol. I love the stamp on the second one. What is it?
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! I really love that sketch, too. You've made some gorgeous cards using it.
ReplyDeleteLovely. Adore the second one!!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty cards evoking spring! You really rock that challenge!
ReplyDeleteYou are knocking out the winners, Carol! Your talent just gets better and better!! These are both stunning, but for some reason that second one is really singing to me. I mean, WOWZA!! If I don't get by again before you leave, I want to wish you both safe travels! I'll talk to you when you are at your Mom's!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous cards! You are so talented!!!!
ReplyDeleteGood day Carol! Such beautiful creations these are. Both are gorgeous, and I love that technique. I never seem to get a great match up when I do that. The second one is extra special. I just love that floral image, the brightness of the colors and the bold sentiment. Just gorgeous. We are expecting snow here today. Hoping for an early dismissal from school, and an afternoon in my craft room. Safe travels wherever you are headed.
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful creations Carol! Your stamping is flawless. Such a pretty mix of colors - soft & subtle on your first card, brilliant & bold on your second card.
ReplyDeleteAND...the images could not possibly been lined up any better! You've totally inspired me to try this technique! Gorgeous, gorgeous cards Carol!
I hear you with the 'pink thing' . I get so frustrated trying to figure out why it seems to be randomly "bad". I see a wee tint in your top card but none on your second card. Comments that I got back fluctuated to the viewer seeing tons of pink to others that saw none. Is it the monitors ????
The are fabby examples of awesome stamping. Pink? What pink? Your cards look fine.... have you seen the state of my photography?! Happy Spring and have a fruity weekend!
ReplyDeletehugs, Asha
Oh Carol, you have totally out-done yourself on these 2 beauties! Both are so pretty, but I'm in LOVE with the 2nd one so much...WOW! Great job combining challenges, too!
ReplyDeleteI think your photos are perfectly fine, Carol...not getting any 'pink' on my screen, so no need to worry! Have a great weekend with your hubby...Hugs, Barb
These are so lovely! Somehow I am so biased towards the second ;)
ReplyDeleteYour crush on this sketch has given us such wonderful inspiration, Carol ... these are both gorgeous ... I particularly love the second with the trailing leaves! Enjoy your together time! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteWow, both cards are fabulous! Love them!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for playing along with us over at Seize the Birthday!
Anni

So, here I am so very horribly late to the party!! I personally think both of these cards are beautiful and full of character and dimension!!! My favorite one is the second one - talk about gorgeously done!! How did you get your stamped images to match up so perfectly like that? You are just so amazing!!
