Time's a flying and I'm here, along with Team B of ATSM, with some inspiration cards for this week's Addicted to Stamps and More #123~Holiday.
My cards mark the debut of my Lawn Fawn Winter Sparrow's and Season's Tweetings combination. Although my colouring needs working (Prismacolour pencils and gamsol...), these little birdies are totally adorable. I paired them with some Bazzill Basics Christmas paper for background and ta dahhhh...three cards in fairly short order (if you don't count the extraordinarily long time it took to figure out this simple layout! Yeesh!). These will be part of the stash I'm making for my mom to sell at the Christmas Bazaar at the seniors' residence where she volunteers.
This one is heading off to Lawnscaping Challenge #94~Count Me In. If you look closely (but not too closely, as my colouring needs work), my background paper is sprinkled with numbers.
With Christmas only a month away (oh my...), I know you're caught up in the busy-ness of the season, which I'm sure includes making holiday-themed cards. Why not share a few in the gallery? We'd love to be inspired by what you create, too!

ReplyDeleteYour wee birdies are just what I need to warm my heart! As for the coloring....uh, hello....it's gorgeous! The time spent agonizing about the layout (yep, I can definitely relate to that) was time well spent as it is THE perfect way to showcase this 'tweet' chorus line of avian minstrels!
Oh my those birdies are sooooooo cute! I know where you are coming from when it comes to designing the layout.......always something I agonise over too, but thee are great. Hope your mum makes a mint! (not the eating kind of course!)

Awww, these are darling cards Carol! I love those cute birds and I think your coloring looks great! The papers you used are so cute and perfect and of course I am loving that stitched rectangle. I can't believe the holidays are upon us either, for us we have Thanksgiving tomorrow and then Christmas is on top of us. lol Where did the year go?! lol I hope you are staying warm Carol, but you were supposed to keep the snow, we got some today, not a lot about 3 inches and it was pretty, but we don't usually have snow this early. lol Hugs, Brenda
