For now, I'm entering a card into STAMPlorations Bi-Weekly Sketch Challenge #19
The wonderful opportunity to be a GD for this challenge inspired me to try the technique on that card with a second one, this time featuring the lovely poppies stamp. My masking still needs work, as a few 'gaps' are visible, but I'm generally pleased with my efforts. In real life, the poppies are a-twinkle with the shimmer from my Twinkling H2O paints. Such pretty colours in that 'romance' set...I have several other flowers and stamps awaiting their turn from some shimmer and sheen.
Thanks so much for dropping by; your visit and comments add sparkle to my day!
Gorgeous !! Beautiful coloring of the poppies thank you for sharing with Stamplorations
ReplyDeleteSoooooo pretty! And a great photo too - the sparkle/shimmer shows up beautifully! LOVE the uncolored images - great way to showcase the brilliantly colored ones!
ReplyDelete"IF" there are gaps in the stamped/masked images, they are doing a fine, fine job of hiding cuz everything looks pretty dang perfect to my eyes!

I, too, am anxiously awaiting seeing what you have to share from all your shopping!! But for now, I will be perfectly content to OOOH and AAAH over this delightfully beautiful card!! I love it - I am not such a big floral fan but you have done yourself proud on this one!! Love the dashes of red poppy masked (VERY WELL to my eye) over a black and white background that just makes them stand up proudly and just shimmer and shine!!
