Thanks a Latte...Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Screech....racing in quickly to share my card for Chaitali's Coffee Lovers Bloghop (we had a MARVELOUS weekend, returning home late yesterday. off to work today, and rushing home to get a card done before the linky closes...).  As you can tell, I'm in hectic mode!  Perhaps too much coffee today *grin*

Amazing, talented and sweet Chaitali and her group of coffee-lovers - all amazing, talented and sweet, too - are providing us with immense inspiration for coffee themed cards, the opportunity to share our own creations AND win prizes, to boot!  Gotta love it!!

My card is a bit on the 'masculine' side, I think...

To Chaitali, her team and everyone in the gallery (which at this moment is sitting an a jaw-dropping 254 entries!!), THANK YOU!!  Now, off to gaze, admire, ooh and ahhh for a bit more....

Thanks so much for dropping by; your visit and comments add sparkle to my day!

  5. You crack me up Carol, always speeding in and getting that card into your challenges. My body is to old and decrepet to race anywhere. lol I do however love your card! I don't think it is too masculine, I think it could be used for a woman or a man. It's fun with that striped paper. I wish I loved or even liked coffee but I'm sad to say I don't. I think I'm one of the few that don't. lol It looks good, not sure I like the smell either, but I don't loath it either. Can drink a cup if I have too but that is all I can get down, and it better be a little cup. lol Well my friend don't rush to much and I'm so glad you had a wonderful time with your family. Hugs, Brenda

  15. I am crushing all over this one (as I do over EVERY one of you cards!!). The striped paper has me all giddy inside - I just love it, and the polkas on the cup and on the background panel are just so sweet! You are such an inspiration, sweet Carol! Running at full speed and still cranking out absolutely gorgeous cards!! I HAVE to learn some time management skills from you so I can get back into my beloved cardmaking!!!

  17. You're right....this card really does have a masculine feel. Could it be the striped paper = cool neck tie? Or the white paper = man's white shirt? Either way, a fabulous card that works to say thanks to a guy without getting all mushy!

  18. I like how the stripes draw your eye down to the coffee cup.

  19. I seriously thought I had commented here but...I'm obviously losing the plot. The use of the striped paper is so clever. I'm totally loving that design. The coffee is highlighted perfectly. I think the card could work for anyone. :) I so want to sit and create with you one day. That's it! I'm coming to Canada!
