My card today is for STAMPlorations Bi-Weekly Sketch Challenge #13
I had visions of other ideas fluttering about, but the hectic week has taken a toll on my time and creativity. The 'concept' I like but with more time, I'd have jazzed up the colours, changed the orientation, done some embossing... you know, a total makeover. Oh well, sometimes that happens. Even so, a new stamp - the one used for the 'panel' made its debut, and as I'm making one card, ideas are pinging for others...
Thanks so much for dropping by; your visit and comments make my day!
SUPER card -great use of stamps and I love the monochrome color palette. Thanks for joining us at STAMPlorations!
ReplyDeleteI like the way you've used the sketch, such a nice card to receive. Wishing you a Happy Summer, Victoria Lavender
ReplyDeleteCool card Carol! I actually really like the way you have set down the images - not really centred and not right aligned - but so cool and so effective! The funky images and script totally work too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! I love your take on the sketch!! And the blue lines running up the card!! Genius!!
ReplyDeleteLove how you used the Holiday Artsy and Artful Flutters sets to create this stunning card. Thanks for joining us at STAMPlorations. Good Luck! Monika DT
ReplyDeleteWow Carol, this card is stunning!! I love the ink swipes and the "coffee" ring stains, they look so cool! But those butterflies are the coolest!!! They are just so pretty and have a nice "distress" look to them. Not sure if it is because they are on the white background or what, but I sure do love 'em!! Yep this is one cool looking card. Oh so our storms came to you did they?! We have had a glorious day here today but it is cool because the wind is blowing like mad. lol Got mulch placed down and my mowing done so it was a good day. Now we are all tired. lol Have a wonderful weekend Carol. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteGreat stamping to interpret the sketch, Carol. Love that band of stamps you created. Call this one monochromatic, and then kick it up a notch with a touch of bright color if you feel like it. I really like the horizontal orientation. Thanks for joining us at STAMPlorations.
