I'm way x a kazillion tooooo jiggly and fidgety to write much more than: I'm meeting Geri, from The Manitoba Stamper, in real life, this weekend!!! Gahhh....in person! In the flesh! I pinched myself - it hurt - so I'm not dreaming! EXCITED!!!
My card is a simple little number, inspired by Taheerah's Cure for the Monday Blues #7
Isn't this yummy-pretty? The yellow, wood and that little peep of green on the top left caught my eye.
Sketch inspiration, which is a must-have for me, comes from Lisa's Wanna Sketch #13
Here we go...it's more vibrant in real life, but 'you get the picture' here..
Thanks so much for dropping by; your visit and comments make my day!
Heck, I'm excited for you both, Carol, getting to meet one another in person ... face to face .... hug to hug! Love your card ... lovely layered elements over the yummy warm and sunny DP ... gorgeous! Hugs, Anita :)

ReplyDeleteYou know....we all expect a full and complete report about your visit with Geri, don't you?! Can't wait to hear all the deets!!!!! Know you had a great time! As to your card, well, the first thing that caught my eye was your use of the wood veneer shapes for the flower middles! Darn clever my friend! Perfect yellow panel, sweet flutterby, and love that die cut 'thanks'. Great card, Carol, just really cheery and happy. Bev
