Couple o' Cards...Seize the Sketch #14, A Blog Named here: Roy. G. Biv, Butterfly Challenge #1: Butterflies and Flowers

Huffing and puffing my way, arms flailing, legs churning to get my cards posted before the link for Butterfly Challenge #1 closes on me...

Consider this a super CAS post... I'll make up for the brevity later *grin*

Both cards are heading to Seize the Sketch #14:

The first one is also off to Mrs. A's Butterflies Challenge #1, where we're invited to combine butterflies and flowers (excited to see what she has in store next go-round...love my butterflies!).

The doily is from MCT; the butterfly from Uniko

This mini - all 3" x 3" of it - is going to A Blog Named Hero Challenge #38:  Roy G. Biv

The speech bubble and Thank (I didn't ink the S...nothing like elaborating on the obvious...)
are PS; *you* is Simon Says

And here are my inspired by Seize the Sketch twosome side-by-side...

thanks so much for dropping by; your visit and comments make my day!

  2. So glad you fluttered by just in time. Love that you have used the design paper as your flower image and that is one heck of a butterfly and pink too. Swoon! Hugs Mrs A. (butterfly challenge).

  3. I love to see people do two cards for one challenge - these cards are both beautiful, but very different from each other. Great show of versatility here!

  4. Ooooh you do beautiful things with butterflies Carol! These are both just wonderful! I love the lacy doily behind the butterflies, such a feminine pretty card, and the thank you is perfect with the bright colors and cute patterned paper!

  6. Now that is one cool idea - leaving the 's' off the 'thanks' and combining it with 'you'. Don't you just want to do a huge fist pump when these clever & resourceful events occur? I know that I do!

Two more AMAZING cards in two distinctive styles! Totally showcases your creativity and talent! Awesome mix of colors and DP and stunning designs, both so perfectly balanced!

  9. Another delightful duo, Carol! The first card just took my breath away! It is SO pretty!!! The butterfly - stunning, especially with the little touch of bling. And the paper...gorgeous! Speaking of gorgeous, that Roy G. Biv guy sure stepped out lookin' gooood! Absolutely love the way you substituted the background circle with two circles and a speech bubble. Totally brilliant!

  14. So colorful and cheerful! I just LOVE the die cut "you"--well, any diecut words, really. I just need to add some to my {small} collection of dies. I'm feeling left out!! Anyway, these are perfect for brightening a special someone's day!!!
