Hi - back once again....
I was tempted to play with the 'blues' over at
Simon Monday Challenge: Blues, with
Retro sketches #232 as the sketch inspiration
Oops, I didn't include three doohickies, and and my knot is, well...clunky-ish. Darn...still, I like the blues, especially because the papers are from a pad that's being sorely neglected. Not so today!!
Thanks so much for dropping by; your visit and comments make my day!
Lovely! I'm a big fan of banners and this one is perfect! I also like that you chose non-tradition colors for this card. Yay for the blue! And btw...your knot in not at all clunky-ish. (I adore the word, though!) Beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteOh....and Thank you for joining us this week for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! I love seeing your work. :) ~Michelle
Adore this! Great layered heart :)
ReplyDeleteI over the moon love this one, Carol!! Beauty must be in the eye of the beholder because I think that knot adds a fabulous rustic flare to the card! The sentiment banner is FAB - did you "wave" it up a bit?!! Absolutely perfect! And I love the banner in the background too! Total swoon!
ReplyDeleteThose papers are wonderful & made an incredible card! Love the hearts! This is one of my favorites, Carol!
ReplyDeleteYou're making me chuckle...when I used the RS, I didn't include the 3 doohickies either:)
ReplyDeleteI love your use of the blue/yellow...very pretty!
What a great combination, Carol ... the kraft background looks fab with the blue and yellow heart ... and the 'rope' is just right with it! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteLol 3 doohickeys are not needed! I love the knot and your card!! It's always nice to use up your supplies!!
ReplyDeleteI don't imagine "they" will be hauling you off to "doohickey" jail anytime soon because the rest of your card is so fabulous, "they" will likely not notice that anything is missing! That really is some gorgeous DP!
ReplyDeleteAND...I LOVE your chunky knot!!!
Lovely card! What a great sentiment. Thank you so much for sharing with us at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
