Here's the sketch,
and here is the bright, bold, beautiful Muse inspiration, from Marion Vagg:
My card:
The paper is from Echo Park's Scoot collection..."meant" for boys but I love how wonderfully
the colours fit the 'girl', or rather, 'grandma' theme.
I'll be sharing these cards 'in person' with my sister-in-law tonight; hope she LOVES them...and I wonder what the final 'destination decisions' will be. These challenges are awesome!!
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoy what you see...
Very pretty. That paper is just too cute. Great take on Marion's card. Nice! Bev
ReplyDeleteYou've captured the colors in the Muse card so well. Such a pretty card!!!
ReplyDeleteHi "C". Drop me an email, and we'll chat! It's always good to have blogfriends. Still coming back to your card. It really is quite lovely. Bev : )

Carol this is BEAUTIFUL! So so beautiful! The layered flowers are gorgeous, and your patterned paper choices for them (and the rest of the card!) are perfect!! And I love the detail of putting the butterfly in between the two hearts on the side! I am in LOVE with this card! And you mastered the combination between the two challenges too! I know these cards are going to be LOVED by Grammy and Super Baba...but don't be surprised if your sister-in-law just wants to keep them all to herself!!!
ReplyDeleteHow was your visit?!! Filled with fun, cuddles and lots of love I'm sure! What a treat to spend time with your family. If they are anything like you (and I'm sure they are!), I can't imagine a more delightful place to be!
I am going through a little challenge withdrawl! I haven't made a card for almost a week (gasp!). I plan to change that today!! Hope you have a lovely weekend and safe trip back!
Talk soon ;)
