Hello,
Yes, I have a zillion things to do but...I don't want to! I want to craft instead, so I am! My chores will be waiting for me, unless the cleaning/laundry/grocery shopping elves arrive...
Sharing two cards for CASology Challenge #240~Foliage
Finally used my Concord and 9th leaves...distress inked (cracked pistachio, twisted citron, peacock feathers) the water-colour look background image, spritzed, stamped, inked again, re-spritzed and once dry, just a 'light' dusting of the veined lacy stamp (same inks, but huffed upon this time) so my 'blob' would appear more leaf-like....
Since the stuff was already out, I made a second, this time with abandoned coral, picked raspberry and spiced marmalade....
NOTE: Honoured and thrilled to be a CASology Challenge #240 Honourable Mention! THANK YOU!!
NOTE: Honoured and thrilled to be selected as an In the Mailbox favourite at Cards in Envy~Keep It Simple. THANK YOU, Donna!
NOTE: Humbled and honoured to be selected as the Just Add Ink Challenge #351~Just Add *L* Challenge winner. THANK YOU!!
That's it...I'm off to see what else I can make. Crafting, not cleaning, calls....

Winner, winner chicken dinner!! Gorgeous cards, my dear friend. The colors on these two beauties are just wonderful. I love this very CAS design and the very simple, black 'hello.' Loving these! Bev

ReplyDeletePS If those elves ever show up send them my way when you're done with them! :D
Two really GORGEOUS color combos, Carol! I love the effects of your inking, spritzing and stamping so much...in fact, I don't see a 'blob' anywhere :) Just a stunning CAS design and a perfectly simple sentiment!!! You nailed it, as always!
ReplyDeleteWow Carol this is such a cool design and I absolutely love how you mixed the colours together. And of course its so crisp and CAS, its a design after my own heart. So wonderful to see you at Just Add Ink this week too!
ReplyDeleteWould love to understand how you made this. You put the ink pad to the rubber stamp and then spritzed and stamped it on the watercolor paper and then inked the stamp again and stamped it once more? These care just gorgeous!
