I was busy at the time and was just checking your post (I always do but don't always have time for comments, sorry about that!) but my tip is that the card you use has a big difference: I'd use card that is meant to be used with markers (Copics etc) -those tend to be smooth and the sponging tool glides beautifully. Also it's important to start outside of the edges of the paper but I'm sure you do already since your sponging looks great!Nonnihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09574779605895274510noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7766814331547828609.post-28987796825058268722014-07-06T13:52:41.315-06:002014-07-06T13:52:41.315-06:00Well look at you doing some 'faux' water c...Well look at you doing some 'faux' water colouring!!!!! Your blending is totally mission accomplished. Definitely a watercolored effect here. These are two lovely cards. I broke out my blender thingy too today, and hope to post something later. It's kind of fun, isn't it?! Am so far behind, but wanted to let you know that these are lovely. Have a great rest of your Sunday. I too have been watching the blending with the distress inks to where it does look like water coloring and I'm in awe. So I too want to try this with a card now that the wedding stuff is over and hopefully before the college stuff begins. If not then I will have to wait until mid Aug. I love how both of your cards turned out. The colors, oh my the colors are so beautiful! Of course you know I love your shaped card and your cute butterfly, so beautiful, so colorful! Your second card's colors are stunning!! I love the blues, pinks and purples and the stamped butterfly! These are true stunners for sure!!! Enjoy your summer vacation from school, you've earned it!! I love how the butterfly pops against the soft background and I thought using a round shape gave the card such a unique and special feel! And that sentiment could not be more perfect! I really liked how you tied in the sunset with the "warm" thoughts. Clever, clever! I also enjoyed seeing the second card, which is completely different yet still absolutely lovely! The butterfly is more muted than on the first card, yet it still brings such elegance and I adore those blended colors you used in the background. You've got a great eye for design and I'm so glad that you shared these creations with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!Andrea Ockey Parrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04732768748326301860noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7766814331547828609.post-1710727376638739352014-06-28T15:23:33.139-06:002014-06-28T15:23:33.139-06:00I see now you made more lovely picture my dear Mis...I see now you made more lovely picture my dear Miss C...with bright sunny on he window its also my lovely place to make Pict of my card

now about your card ...yeah I love the butterfly card you made...the shape also soo beautiful it looks like the real butterfly fly to a flower and the card base is the flower...sweeetttt card and I ADORE It...

The second card..if you dont believe me you must believe me...LOL I order to Sherry from Stamplorations the Butterfly stamp too and I made GDT card with the butterfly stamp too...yes I love butterfly too dear Miss C and your ombre effect looks so pretty...Another Lovely card Miss C

I am sorry the time is so less I have so less time in front of computer also in front of my craft table but I always remember you and your words always lovely and make my day brighter Carol...big hugs from Germany, MonikaMonika Reeckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16813350584292871098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7766814331547828609.post-14135008123783678712014-06-28T12:55:35.988-06:002014-06-28T12:55:35.988-06:00Ooooooh look at you go girl!!
