She sounds like such a kind soul. It is no wonder that she is loved so dearly by both staff & students :) Your two gorgeous cards will definitely warm her heart and I'm sure she will appreciate that they were made specifically for her by your hands, from your heart.<br /><br />As for the cards - two stunning creations! Honestly, I don't think the first card needs any bits of this & that - the simplicity of the elements are what make this design ooooooze elegance!<br /><br />Wowzers on your stenciling! I so lo...Oh my Carol, these two cards are amazing!! I so love the color combo and papers! Those tags are awesome, I really love them. I am loving the butterfly dies too and can't wait to use mine. Loving that stencil and your sentiments are just perfect for these cards. I know how it feels to lose someone whom you look up to so much to retirement. I did reading with students and the woman who oversaw me did reading interventions-anyway when she retired I was almost in a panic because I know how she did things, how she worked with the students, etc...and I was afraid of what school life was going to be after she was gone. I loved her so much. But the guy that filled her shoes was just as amazing! I was so lucky to work with so many lovely people who were so concerned about our students and did all they could to help them. Schools are really a great place to work. I miss all my staff members and teachers-but the retired ones still all get together to make cards and go out for lunch from time to time and I'm very lucky that I am always included in their group. But most of all, I really miss the students. They were awesome and I always wanted to take them all home with me, and I would have if I could have! lol Hugs, BrendaBrendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11555452421297088756noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7766814331547828609.post-66725603968890155232014-06-25T13:24:07.984-06:002014-06-25T13:24:07.984-06:00Wonderful designs on both of your pretty cards Car...Wonderful designs on both of your pretty cards Carol! love the backgrounds on each - both stamped and stencilled (nicely done!) - and the wonderful gold in the butterflies and tag - thanks for joining us at the Fusion challenge this week!Julia Astonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14056249262392002395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7766814331547828609.post-88208118519047683922014-06-25T13:19:37.212-06:002014-06-25T13:19:37.212-06:00These are so pretty, I love the gold stenciling, a...These are so pretty, I love the gold stenciling, and the gold stripes on ur first card :) thank you for sharing these beauties at Fusion!Deeptihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04234326634594847786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7766814331547828609.post-81350336389686772192014-06-25T12:36:55.314-06:002014-06-25T12:36:55.314-06:00These are both quite stunning, Carol, with nothing...These are both quite stunning, Carol, with nothing missing!
