Welcome to Colour Hues Challenge #134 where Bonnie invites us to play with hues of Pink an Turquoise for the next two weeks. Such a pretty combination for a wide range of images and occasions.
We're delighted to have Kim Miller joining us as our Guest Designer.
Another of my Better Press Society collections has come out for a play; this time, Sea Friends, that released a year ago in June 2025. It's about time I gave it some attention, right!
I glimmered the images with two shades of turquoise hot foil and one of pink. As many of you know, glimmery, shimmery images are a challenge to photograph. In this case, however, the lighting created an interesting effect though, as it 'appears' I used various shades of teal with the ocean border, when I didn't. I'll take that as a win! The pink and lighter shade of turquoise feature a 'satin' hot foil that offers a less shimmery, slightly softer result.

Even though I can't see the shimmer and shine of the foil in your photograph, I can definitely imagine it Carol and I'm betting it's absolutely GORGEOUS!! Such wonderful images to start with and then to add the shine of foil makes this a standout card my friend...LOVE it!! Hugs. :0)

ReplyDeleteWhat a great theme for this color challenge! I don't have anything sea worthy, but this makes me think that's a hole that ought to be filled.

Shimmer or not this is a fab little ocean scene Carol and a great use of the challenge colours too! I finally got my Glimmer machine but always forget to use it!! :)
