In a moment of distraction, I managed to scissor-cut the tip of my finger this week (ICK!) which served as inspiration for my card. LOL! I've had this set of band-aid dies for years and this - finally - marks their debut. Yes, they're adhered a bit crooked (despite my best efforts at lining them up straight) but hey...they resemble my one-handed first-aid attempts with my own injury. Just a bit wonky...as are many things around here.

Seize the Birthday Challenge #306 - Surprise Party Guest - Use A Frame - Sweet Cupcake Happy Birthday

I'm thrilled to be joining the Seize the Birthday team as the Surprise Party Guest for Challenge #306. Such a wonderful opportunity to play cards with super talented designers and, at the same time, add to my birthday card stash. 

All Seize the Birthday Challenges are "Anything Goes" with an optional topping for those who want to be more venturesome with their cards. For the next two weeks, the topping is Use A Frame; perfect for adding some eye-catching pizzazz to your cards.

It's no secret that I am a full-fledged fan of Waffle Flower; their delightful, thoughtfully crafted, versatile products make them tops on my list. Today, I'm bringing a Sweet Cupcake to the party, along with some Bokeh Elements which, together, cover rainbow colours.  I hope you enjoy my calorie-free, easy to 'bake' cupcake creation.

Inkspirational Challenge #341 - Designer's Choice - HOT - Thanks for Brightening My Day Tropical Sunset (Waffle Flower)

Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #341, where my talented teammate, Marlena, has selected HOT as her Designer's Choice inspiration. Hot weather, hot beverages, hot locations, hot colours, hot product trends, hot images (fire, sun, fashion)...plenty of directions to take this one.

My brand new, just-took-it-out-of-the-package Waffle Flower Tropical Sunset silhouette stamps are marking their debut today. In fact, the stamps are SO new that I didn't even take time to season them properly; I was 'that' excited to stamp! My card is far from original, as I drew inspiration from one of the showcases on the Waffle Flower website.  I mean, that's why I buy 99.9% of my products: to replicate the beauties I see created by 'professional' card-makers. Next time I use this stamp, I'll aim for more of 'my' touches...maybe! Still lots of pretty versions I want to re-create...
