Inkspirational Challenge #319 - Use Stencils (Optional: Use Paste) - Just Because (Alex Syberia Designs - Charming Flora, Beautiful Day collection)

Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #319. *Use Stencils* is our inspiration for the next two weeks and, if you want to jazz up your stenciling, we've included an optional twist: Use Paste. Colours, design, occasion - the choice is yours, but please incorporate stencils.

My card features the Beautiful Day hot foil plate, die and stencils from Alex Syberia Designs' most recent release. I added the two die cut floral panels to a Charming Floral background. A "Just Because" foiled sentiment was the finishing touch. I'm a super fan of ASD; her exceptional suites of products make card-making a joy!

We're delighted to have Jane Taylor joining us as our June Guest Designer with another of her fabulous creations.

Colours and the whimsical florals in the lower right image caught my attention; I translated them with the lovely Mysterious Petals from Alex Syberia Designs. This collection of dies work seamlessly to create a most eye-catching arrangement of blooms, buds and leaves. The background features the Charming Flora cover plate. A simple gold foiled sentiment finishes it off.

I cut all the colours with all the dies, which means a few more cards happened. Here's another:

Color Hues Challenge #89 - Sage & Pink - You are the Best - Beautiful Days (Alex Syberia Designs)

Welcome to Colour Hues Challenge #89, where our lovely hostess, Marcia, has selected hues of Sage and Pink as inspiration for the next two weeks. I'm smitten with this combination, looking for ways to add it as accents to my cards, wardrobe and home decor. It's a winner!

We're delighted to have Amy Tsuruta joining us as our Guest Designer for this challenge; welcome, Amy! 

My card features the Beautiful Day hot foil plate, die and stencils from Alex Syberia Designs' most recent release. Two shades of pink inks, paired with Dusty Sage (SSS) and Bundled Sage (distress ink) made for easy colouring of these delightful whimsical blooms.  I added the two die cut floral panels to a Charming Floral background. A Just Because Hot Foil & Die  sentiment was the finishing touch. I'm a super fan of ASD; her exceptional suites of products make card-making a joy!

After residing in my stash for over a year (perhaps more!), I finally brought my Concord & 9th Alphabet Soup Turnabout out for a turn-about! Obviously, I drew inspiration from the scrambled letters  in the bottom row photo, the circles next to it and the colour combination. The sentiment is from a Spellbinders BetterPress plate.

Just Us Girls Challenge #730 - Color Week - Pink and Aqua - This Card is Full of Birthday Wishes (PFS Quadrant, Spellbinders sentiment)

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #730, where our fabulous hostess, Carol Mc, has selected Pink and Aqua for her first-ever Colour challenge. Such a pretty combination!

A new month means a new guest designer; we're delighted to have Jane Taylor joining us for May. Welcome aboard, Jane.

I'm smitten with both my BetterPress and Glimmer systems; both came into play for this challenge. I'm featuring the  older - but new to me - Quadrant Backdrop press plate, stencil and die from Pinkfresh Studio. Silver foil to add some glimmer to the plate, then stenciled with assorted PFS, distress and C & 9th inks. The sentiment is from Spellbinders. My photo doesn't do justice to how pretty this combination is in real life.
