So easy to colour, especially using Yana's no blend copic technique.  The little 'uh oh' is fun; the perfect reminder that sometimes we have little oopsies in life, but we can get past them...especially with more ice cream!

Inkspirational Challenge #266~Photo Challenge....Notting Hill Books Card

Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #266, where we have this cool books/cafe photo as inspiration for the next two weeks. Colours, shapes, books, chairs, the 'cozy' ambience of the room...plenty of possibilities to explore, for sure.

Pretty obvious what caught my eye, right! The Photoplay Notting Hill collection (a must have for book lovers0 has been on my shelf for quite a while, so today's card marks its debut. My card design was inspired by the awesome one created by Kathy by Design, found here. I made a few changes but not many; why mess with something I really really really like! This card will go to my sweet niece, Ms. T, who absolutely LOVES books!  Plus, my brother's family has a cat, so adding one is fitting!

Just Us Girls Challenge #634~Photo Week...Today is a Good Day for a Good Day! (Waffle Flower Bear)

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #634, where our sweet, talented Carol Mc has selected this fabulous bikes + florals photo as this week's inspiration. Bikes, flowers in baskets, colours, other 'summery' vehicles...so many directions to take, as you'll see from the design team.

We bid a fond 'see you later' to our fabulous guest designer, Deborah Wheeler. Her cards this month have been wonderfully inspiring; thank you so much, Deborah, for sharing your creativity with us!

A few weeks back, I ordered the Honey Bee Riding By collection (enabled by Carol Mc!), however, it has yet to arrive. So...I went with my only (which is just plain weird, given the number of bikes we have in our house - mostly my husband's - and my connection to the bike-racing world here in Alberta) oldie, but goodie bike image from Waffle Flower. Gotta love that big ol' bear (talk about a copic colouring challenge!) balancing on his cart-hauling, basket-toting two-wheeler.

Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #5~Flowers...Happy Christmas (Missees Dog + Doodlebug Frosty Floral)

I haven't played in challenges for ages, so time to change that up with a card I made for  Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #5, where the theme is Flowers.

Pawsome Stamps is this month's sponsor, so I 'had' to colour up the adorable dog from the Missees Pets collection and pair him with a big ol' cup of coffee.  And lest you think my busy flowers paper is not Christmas themed, I assure you it certainly is! I used the front/back of the Frosty Floral paper (image/link below) from Doodlebug's Let It Snow collection, as well as a sticker for the sentiment.

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #633, where our lovely hostess, Bobby, has selected Coral, Blue and Tan as this week's colour inspiration. 

 Once again, we're delighted to have Deborah Wheeler joining us as our May Guest Designer.

This palette certainly lends itself to beach/lake themed cards, but I headed in a completely different direction. Likely because a) no beaches in our vicinity and b) my La Cucina set from Pigment Craft was calling for a play! This fabulous card by Leica, on IG, was my inspiration, so I full-on cased hers.

Color Hues Challenge #41~Aqua and Red...Happy Birthday Gift Bags (Spellbinders Shopping Card Add-Ons)

Welcome to Color Hues Challenge #41, where our lovely Cindy invites us to play with hues of  Red and Aqua for the next two weeks. I'm sure this pretty pairing will see a gallery filled to over-flowing!

We're delighted to have two guest designers joining us: Kim Miller and Marcia Hill. Their cards, along with those of my teammates, are fresh, fabulous and inspiring!

My card features the shopping bags from the first Shopping Cart & Add-ons collection by Becky Roberts/Spellbinders. I love this collection, especially since so many of the add on sets can be used in the cart as well as separately. Versatility, plus! And the new collection has just been released! I'm soooo excited!

Perfectly CAS May 2022 Challenge~Distress...Sweets for the Sweet (Missees)

Welcome to the Perfectly CAS May 2022 Challenge, where the theme is *Distress.* Distress inks, distressed edges...whatever you choose as 'distress' works for us!

Distress inks for me, in three colours only - Picked Raspberry, Saltwater Taffy and Tea Dye - to colour up these sweet treats. Images are from Missees Pets Collection. I'm NOT skilled with watercolour, but still, I'm okay with how these turned out.  Anyone fancy a donut? Cupcake? Macaron? Milkshake?

My card features a super cute stamp - which I call my Lily-dog - from my wonderful friend and teammate, Lindsey M-P!  I coloured this adorable pup similar to Lily (who, at the moment, is a bit of a a scruff ball!), placed her peeking over a fence, to let her daycare gal know she 'ruffs' her! This card will be in-person delivered on Tuesday; hopefully, it will bring Lorraine a smile! We really do love her...a LOT!

Just Us Girls Challenge #631 - WORD Week - Flowers...Good Friends Always Know When You Need A Cup of Tea

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #631, where our lovely hostess, Vicki, has selected *Flowers* as this week's word prompt. We're a bit away from flowers in full bloom here, but Spring's presence is starting to show...budding leaves, wee sprouts peeking from the lilies and a scattering of wild crocus on the hillsides where we walk our girl.

We're delighted to welcome Deborah Wheeler as our May Guest Designer. Her card and those of my team are absolutely lovely! 

My tea cup, the pink blooms and the lightly stenciled scattered dots background are all from Pigment Craft Co. Such fun that many of the products play so well with one another; more possibilities, for sure!

Welcome to Happy Little Stampers May 2022 Christmas Challenge, where Anything Goes with an optional twist which, this month, is House. Only 8 months until Christmas...where is the time going??

I've had this adorable stamp and die from Your Next Stamp for ages (plus a few more) and finally, they're making their debut!  Yana Smakula's no blend copic colouring technique for the image, then adhered on to a piece of 'snow' paper from Simple Stories. I should colour up a few more and get my Christmas stash growing!
