Hello,
Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #214, where Pia, as her Designer's Choice, invites us to use Funny Sentiments on our cards/projects. Let's bring on the giggles!
Before I share my card: we're biding *see you later* to our sweet Anila, who is exploring another path on her crafting journey! Anila, your inspiration and sweet comments will be missed here, but...we know where to find you!
I went with 'cutie patootie' with a card inspired by the one designed by Stephanie K, of MFT fame, here, that, hopefully, you'll find funny on some level! What was 'truly' funny was gluing each little paw and toe pad on the hexagons! Labour of love!
My wonderful teammates have interpreted the prompt in most delightful fashions. Please visit and leave them some love, which I know will be deeply appreciated:
Looking forward to seeing you in the gallery!
Thank you for dropping by!

Hello,
Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #538, where our lovely Sue wants us to go *wild* in using 2 or more different patterned papers on our cards/projects! Bring out alllll your bits-and-pieces of pretty papers and show them some love!
Once again, Deborah Frings joins us with her finale post as this month's guest designer; Deborah, your inspiration has been nothing short of awesome! Thank you for playing cards with us! Please wander to her blog for a visit and, afterwards, drop by at my wonderful JUGS team's places: Sue, Angie, Vicki, Ina, Bobby, Nancy, Lisa, Maria and Cécile. If you have a chance to comment, that would be a real treat.
Sue asked for two or 'more' patterned paper, so I've delivered with FIVE! This circle die from The Stamp Market is perfect for using up assorted sizes of leftover papers. Such fun to piece them into their respective circles, too!

STAMPlorations Stencil Sunday (May 24, 2020)...Love for Leaf Prints 2
Hello,
Welcome to my Stencil Sunday post where, once again, I'm sharing some simple ways to play with the wonderful array of stencils available at STAMPlorations.
Fourth post and guess what: four cards to share! I didn't have that as my intention but once I started playing...well, let's just say I carried on!
The title of today's post: LOVE for Leaf Prints 2!!
Today's cards have a common design, featuring a SINGLE stencil focus, Leaf Prints 2 - ARTplorations Stencil, and the same sentiment/embellishment base, Pierced Curly Frames/Tags Nesting Dies. Other products used are:
One stencil; one design; four different/same looks! It's all about how you 'breathe life' into your stencils! Hope I've given you a few ideas to use your stencils in new/different ways.

What sets the cards apart: the techniques used to showcase the stencil. Let's begin...
Card 1
Alcohol ink background + C Gina K Glitter Gel
In real life, this is wonderfully shimmery!
Flutter Zen 2 Layering Dies butterfly in vellum
Card 2
Dry embossed background, then inked with Twisted Citron DI
Dragonfly Layering Dies - The Bee's Knees - dragonfly cut from gold sparkle cardstock
Pierced Curly Frames/Tags Nesting Dies, lightly dusted with Spun Sugar DI
Card 3
I used a new-to-me product - Cosmic Shimmer: Opal Blaze Polish in Pink Blueberry.
It's a lovely product, easily applied with your finger tip (think 'dipping your finger into yummy icing!). Different hues depending on your paper; on black...oh myyyy!
Card 4
*Had* to include yet another foiled card - this time a gorgeous Brutus Monroe foil
After foiling the card, I used Deco Foil Transfer paper, cut the dragonfly, then foiled it as well.
Before you go:

Just Us Girls Challenge #537~Photo Week...Coffee Turnabout Enjoy!
Hello,
Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #537, where our wonderful Bobby has selected this laden-with-possibilities photo to spark our creativity! Bright, bold, an assortment of textures and patterns...oh my! So. Many. Choices!
Once again, we're thrilled to have talented, super creative Deborah Frings joining us as this month's guest designer; please wander to her blog for a visit and, afterwards, drop by at my wonderful JUGS team's places: Sue, Angie, Vicki, Ina, Bobby, Nancy, Lisa, Maria and Cécile. If you have a chance to comment, that would be a real treat.
Colours and 'table' elements caught my eye, so I decided that a coffee-themed card would fit-the-bill. Concord & 9th's coffee turnabout making its debut. Have I mentioned how much I love C & 9 turnabouts? I do...oodles!

Today, I'm joining the STAMPgals with a reminder post featuring some new cards/projects to spark inspiration.
I decided to try something different (for me) using the oh-so-pretty All-Blooms-ARTplorations-Stencil (you've likely seen the beautiful cards several of my teammates have created). Rather than use the entire stencil - my usual style - I selected three of the flowers and created 'mini closeups' of the blooms by placing them on Pierced Curly Frames/Tags Nesting Dies. Each 'snapshot' snippet features a similar DI ink palette - Spun Sugar, Festive Berries, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed - in varying degrees, depending on the flower. I adhered three additional frames together, from cardstock leftovers, for added dimension. The sentiment is from Thank You Coffee - Shery Russ Designs.
A bit of a different look. I like it...hope you do, too!
Head over to the STAMPlorations blog for more cards and prize/playing along details.
May store promotion: Throughout May, products in the SPRING FLING section are 15% off instantly; if you use my code - STAMPGIRLCAROLM - you can received 35% off. Talk about a deal!

Inkspirational Challenge #213~Shake...Happy 9th Birthday Shaker
Hello,
Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #213, where *SHAKE* is our word prompt! You can shake with shakers, or perhaps a blender/mixer image, or a dancer (person or critter) shimmying across your panel stage...possibilities galore!
I went totally easy-peasy with this one! Lawn Fawn paper, MFT die and circle shaker doo-dad thing (which totally eliminates the need for foam tape), a C & 9th number and Studio Katia sequins. All told, about 15 minutes. Yayyy!
My wonderful teammates have interpreted the prompt in most delightful fashions. Please visit and leave them some love, which I know will be deeply appreciated:
Looking forward to seeing you in the gallery!

Concord & 9th's Brighter Days set recently arrived at my place and I couldn't wait to use Lisa's colour scheme for some happy rainbows! The arcs are inked; the sun and clouds, die cut. I had a big ol' smile on my face while making these...and I hope they'll bring a smile to your faces, too!

Perfectly CAS Challenge #9 (May 2020)~Animals...Unicorn Bumper Car *Have Fun*
Hello,
OHMYSTARS! How did we arrive at the middle of MAY already! Amazed at quickly time is passing; amazed at little I'm truly accomplishing *grin* in these stay-at-home times! At least crafting is carrying on; a distraction from the cleaning I really should be doing! Hope everyone is finding their niche in the midst of all this uncertainty....
Welcome to Perfectly CAS Challenge #9 (May 2020), where our theme is Animals. Choices galore, right!
I also have a Jungle Pals set; I'm sure they'll wind up in bumper cars (or on the fabulous ferris wheel) at some point, too!
Please be sure to pop by my teammates' blogs, leave them some love, then bring your Perfectly CAS Animal themed creations to the gallery.
- A friendly reminder: For this challenge, we're asking you to use one-third (aka: the rule of thirds) or less on your card designs, leaving plenty of scrumptious white space (two-thirds of your panel) to draw our eyes to to your focal image. Kylie has included an easy-to-follow explanation on the challenge blog here.
Thank you for dropping by!
